Overview

Culture Based Tome Units

The idea of the mod is to make all the racial tome units also grab the visuals of the culture it’s based on.
For now all the Tome Level 1 units are done, the rest should be implemented more quickly, as the T1 tomes have the most amount of units.

Some units might not change, like the Zealot for the Feudal, since it’s visual is quite close to the culture. Also other units like summons, or neutral ones are currently not possible to be visually changed, unless I make them racial based aswell.

Updates

24/04/2026 – Ok I decided to go ahead and make both Architect and Nomad all along, its faster and I would not get burned out! So there it is, all the cultures updated. Next step is to grab the last 4 Tome units, and adjust them to the Cultures. Also I need to make a whole Tome pass, some settings on units where changed

21/04/2026 – First commit for fixing old things. Houndmaster and Warbreed should be working. Made all Nomad units the same skin as the Mystic Tome units, so that you can at least see them visually. The next steps are -> Make Architect units -> Add all units from the last expansions ToB and RR for all the older factions -> Make Nomad units

28/08/25 – All the Tome Units are done for all factions except Architect. Next step is to make all the tome units for the final Architect faction.

25/08/25 – Oathsworn Update

21/08/25 – Fixed the missing models for the Architect Culture. Now I need to start working on the Oathswordn and also fix the Warbreed model that got small.

16/11/24 – Added all the mising Tome units (from the Afflictor up to the Shades) for all the older cultures. Next update is to focus on the Oathsworn culture!

11/11/24 – Finished the Primal Culture for the last units. Next step is to Finish all the new tome units for all old factions (afflictor, constrictor, pyre templar, etc) and then move on to the Oathsworn culture that is currently using the Feudal Theme

9/11/24 – Fix to Major problems of missing models. A lot of things broke on the last DLC, and might need sometime to properly fix. The plan is FIX -> Finish Primal Culture -> Finish Missing Units (Conscrictor, Pyre Templar, etc) -> Work on Oathsworn culture

22/11/23 – Reaver Culture units added.
Fixes to several units.

28/06/23 – Final Batch of Units from Tier III and Tier IV – Eagle Rider, Warbreed, Transmuter and Tyrant Knight.
Fixes to several units according to feedback

14/06/23 – Bath of Tome Tier II Units – Zephyr Archer, Glade Runner, Necromancer and Inquisitor

07/06/23 – First Commit

Know Issues and WIP

Some clipping occurs, but I’ll try to fix it as I progress.
