Description:

Adds 7 units to Throgg’s Wintertooth faction. Shares 3 with Beastmen, 1 with other Norsca Factions, and 1 with Sartosa. And now 4 with Warriors of Chaos.
I wanted some more monsters for a Throgg campaign, so made some slightly rough kitbashes. For lazy recruitment added most to the renown mercenary recruitment panel to represent the occasional wandering monster ready to join the Troll King’s horde.

UNITS
Norscan Were – It’s a chaos spawn, with an appearance set themed to feel a little more Norscan than complete gibbering mass that chaos waste spawn devolve into. Recruited from tier 3 settlements and available to mercenary recruit at level 5. Standard recruitment shared with all Norscan factions.
Sayl being at bit farther away from Norsca has some regular chaos spawn mixed in for an assorted visual appearance.

Ancient Harpies – The first of several 4th Edition inspired monsters. 4e harpies were feathered and had a slightly better statline than modern harpies. These harpies use great eagle animations and are a fast and hard-hitting flanker flock. Recruited from the Chaos Totem building line, and available to mercenary recruit at level 8. Beastmen get their own version for standard recruitment. Warriors of Chaos may also recruit them.

Chaos Gorgon – Statwise an assault medusa, for close range fire support. Trades some range and ammo for better staying power in melee, with better armour and poison attacks. Recruited from the Chaos Totem building line, and available to mercenary recruit at level 14. Beastmen get their own version for standard recruitment. Warriors of Chaos may also recruit them.

Chimera – Now the Lesser Chimera with CA’s addition of the real one. Sadly cannot fly as I used the hydra as a base to get the heads moving. Consequently is basically a Hydra with poison and a mild damage aura. Recruited from the Chaos Totem building line, and available to mercenary recruit at level 16. Beastmen get their own version for standard recruitment. Warriors of Chaos may also recruit them.

Chaos Centaurs Last of the 4e monsters. Halfway between a centigor and a marauder champion, meant to be a faster moving mid-tier shieldline for Throgg’s monster mash. Recruited from the tier 3 military building, and available to mercenary recruit at level 12. Warriors of Chaos may also recruit them.

Madmen – Mostly just a thematic unit. Madmen are peasant mobs with unbreakable, rampage, and some scaling damage resistance in melee. Meant to be a cheap disposable meat shield for the early game. Available right away and only recruited through the renown panel.

Mermaids – Made mostly to see if it would work and included because it mostly did. A hybrid ranged unit with stalk. Its ranged and melee attacks debuff and induce rampage representing the mermaid’s siren song. Meant to be a flanker and disrupt ranged lines. Can be recruited from tier 3 ports, and available to mercenary recruit at level 10. Aranessa gets her own version and can recruit them from her second tier Hull line.
