You have to trim meat and clean fish at a butcher spot to smoke it. Be sure to restrict trimmed meat/cleaned fish from your other cooking recipes if necessary/desired.
Smoked meat/fish requires trimmed meat/cleaned fish, stays fresh for 60 days. Can also be used as kibble/pemmican/meal ingredient [1.3 only, 1.4 it is like pemmican]. Fungus does not need to be prepared but smoked fungus is a meal and cannot be used as an ingredient.
