The Lone Star – Texan Overhaul Mod
Update Compatibility: 1.7.x
A full overhaul of the Republic of Texas.
I plan to release this in multiple stages. The first stage adds a large amount of changes and additions to the Republic of Texas and the Texas state in game. The newly released 2.0 update includes journal entries, decisions, events and other additions/changes! The coming stages will add more flavor in the form of events, journal entries, etc. There will be a large amount of depth added in the updates that are coming soon!
For now, here’s a quick overview of current additions:
– Added Texian Culture and Pops
– Agricultural Changes (see change log)
– Resource Changes (see change log)
– Unique Buildings/State Monuments (see change log)
– State Traits/Modifiers (see change log)
– Custom Party Names
– Custom Interest Group Names
– Custom Journal Entries/Decisions/Events (Dealing with the Comanche, Purchasing the remainder of Texas from the US, Texian Slavery Question, Establishing Army and Navy bases, the University of Texas (and it’s wider system), and an Arts Academy)
– Custom Decision (Capture Santa Anna) to end the war without having to rely on RNG

– Expansion routes via Journal Entries/Events/Decisions (Forming the Lone Star Republic, the Gulf Republic, and more!)

All of the above is subject to change and will be vastly expanded over time!
PS: This mod is NOT by any means balanced. Texas is meant to be quite powerful in this mod. Not insanely, but much more so than vanilla. This may change in the future if I expand the scope outside of just Texas and have to account for other nearby nations.
