Bulletproof Vests Under Clothing
This mod creates a submenu on the vanilla bulletproof vests (police, military and civilian) that gives the player the option to hide the vest under four choosable layers: vanilla / under jackets / under jackets and sweaters / under jackets, sweaters and shirts.
- Vanilla: Wear the vest as the base game.
- Under Jackets: Hide the vest under jackets.
- Under Jackets and Sweaters: Hide the vest under jackets and sweaters.
This mod only uses the inbuilt setHideModel parameter to hide the vest when the player character is wearing certain layers of clothing, so you shouldn’t be able to see the vest by the holes on your clothing or by some mods like Spongie’s Open Jackets.
Important
Some clothings in the vanilla game aren’t made to be used with vests, i.e: Bath Robe, Suit Jacket, Wedding Jacket Padded Jacket, Shell Jacket, Army Coat, etc, so I don’t plan to change that.
Kinda working. Couldn’t make setHideModel to sync in multiplayer, so vests are actually under those layers without being hidden, so clipping should be seen. If anyone how to fix this, please tell me.
It should be compatible with any mod that doesn’t change the body location of these three items.
Should be fine to install mid-game. Uninstalling mid-game causes the vest to return to your inventory if it is currently on a custom location.
