Edo’s France created (in two days) by Edouard Saladier 2 years ago, now up to date and playable.
It was so complicate to make as i don’t had any experience before but thanks to experimented people from CK3 modding discord (espacialy my belgian mentor Maxime) i made it !
The Entire map of France with approximately 3728 baronies/counties , 350 duchies, 96 kingdoms, 13 empire.
All rulers/dynasties/coat of arms are randomly generated. I heavily advise using the ruler designer
The terrain is still flat all plains, features no rivers, new forests included, but this is just visual effect for now, i tried to paint the map, no more forever gray terrain but this is amateur work done quickly.
I had to fix many provinces with exclaves (a piece of territory from whose main territory is separated by one or more countries) so the map is in a better condition than at first release.
Developpements is 5 for every barronies. All the map is French Culture and catholic.
All duchies/kingdom/empire capitals were attributed to the first county in alphabetical order.
The mod is not completely debugged still, i believe this is playable but i know there are bugs that are still present
-As said before, there are no other cultures than french in the entire map, i try to find a solution for adding the historical diversity of France
-As there is many dynasties randomly generated, many of them are duplicated, it mean that some people across france are related families member by unkown link, same dynasties without knowing each other
-Belfort is a too small kingdom
-Name of the baronnies in Kingdom of Charente and Charente maritime are incorrectly named and Duchies in this region are scattered a bit
-Same issue for Kingdom of Tarn and Tarn-et-garonne and their duchies
-Same issue for Kingdom of Indre and Indre et Loire and their duchies
-Paris Region is hell, there is so many provinces as you can see in pictures this is very hard to play there
-1.9 activities works well but for pilgrimage Holy site are still needed to be placed for all other religions than the 3 religions (islam, christianity, judaism)
Yes i update it but i’m alone on this, so for now it’s just keeping this alive.
