The Right To Bear Arms

Welcome to "The Right to Bear Arms V2" for patch 1.5.10, a mod for Victoria 3 that introduces new systems for security needs. This mod augments the existing gameplay experience by diving into gun rights and it’s impact on society.

Goods
- New "Security" pop needs
- New luxury good "Civilian Arms" ($60 base price) (fulfill 80% of Security Needs)
- New staple good "Law Enforcement" ($35 base price) (fulfill 100% of Security Needs)
- Small Arms renamed to Military Arms
- New "Security Needs" demand curve (Active for wealth levels 10 – 99)
- Starts around 1% of total pop spend at wealth level 10
- Increases to around 7% of total pop spend at wealth level 50
- Equalizes down to ~5% of total pop spend at wealth level 80-99

- Minors and above prioritize Law Enforcement if laws are set to licensed or banned
- Properly weighted investments into the Military Industrial Complex institution depending on AI political strategy
- Prioritized construction of arms industries
Combat Units
- Irregular Infantry now utilize civilian arms and require 1 per unit
- Line infantry now utilize 1 less unit of military arms and 1 unit of Civiilan arms
- Dragoons now utilize civilian arms and require 1 per unit

- Yankee and Dixie cultures obsessed with Civilian Arms
- (Open to more suggestions for cultures that were historically obsessed)
