Description:
Overview

Makes Smoke Grenades, Ultrasonic Lure, Mimic Beacon and other similar support items from mods not break concealment when used.

Configuration
<Steam>steamappsworkshopcontent2685002994011957ConfigXComZelfConcealedItemUse.ini

Add more items and abilities to stay concealed with. Can be used to make any ability concealment retaining, not just items.

Some additional items and abilities are commented out in the config should you want to enable them. Most notably you can make proximity mines exploding not break concealment akin to Reaper Claymore.

Compatibility

Safe to add or remove at any time. Only modifies item and ability templates and will not affect save games.

Other mods may also change these concealment values or add/remove the concealment breaking effects so it depends on load order which change will end up being applied.

One such mod is obviously [WOTC] Proximity Mine PG Project but will work fine together if you want the other changes in that mod.

Thank you RustyDios for the original idea of concealment retaining proximity mines.

Notes

Objectives breaking concealment won’t be circumvented with this mod as that would be a different balance change entirely.

Throwing a Mimic Beacon or other unit spawning item in the detection range of an enemy will still break squad concealment as expected. Phantom/Shadow will let the thrower stay concealed, though.
