Better Soldier Names
If you are like me and your immersion broken by having four men with the same name in a squad, or by men having seemingly nonexistent or wrong-spelled last names, this mod is for you!
This small mod adds around 150 fairly common german first and last names and removes the wrong/stupid last names like "Groybaher" or "Fondbek"…
I will add more voices to the german soldiers as well (sooner or later). I rewatched the Stalingrad 1993 movie recently and noticed that there are many different german dialects in it and wondered why we don’t have this diversity in our all time favorite game. I think it would add a lot, if we heard some swabian, saxonian, bavarian or austrian etc. soldiers as well. I just have to find the time and can’t promise it yet.
As I can’t speak russian or finnish, nor know anything about russian names, I dont know if there are wrong/too few russian/finnish names as well. Feel free to educate me though!
Should be compatible with most of the mods out there. If you notice any bugs or compatibility issues, please comment down below.
