Description:

The feature to allow all sack and subjugate options for all cultures has been removed. You can get it with this seperate mod or by using my Better Rome II Compilation.

Improved and rebalanced AI

Since most AI mods don’t work for the last patch this mod brings back some AI balancing.
It tweaks recruitment and ai decisions and increases ai research speed at high levels. No low tier eternity any more!

What has been changed?
  • Better priorities for diplomatic deals and agreements
  • Better priorities in stratetic decisions for AI armies and agents
  • More agressive and active AI (attacking and defending as well)
  • Better recruitment reworked: Rebalanced unit types in AI armies
  • High variation in army constellations for each faction group
  • Better construction and research priorities for AI
  • AI should spend more money for good armies
  • AI will research much faster at very hard & legendary difficulty
  • Other slightly increased AI bonuses on high difficulty (wealth, cost reduction, recruimtent XP)
  • Some single game variables optimized (e.g. cooldown for diplomacy penalties)
    AI is less afraid to attack major factions

Most improvements apply to all campaigns.
As I can say those changes make the AI better and more active. I may add more improvements in the future.

Compatibility
  • Save game compatible
  • Compatible with most mods except AI mods changing the same files
  • Some minor conflicts might occure using several mods that use parts of Better Recruitment, i.e. this mod and Harder Than Legendary. Use at your own risk.
