Red Eyed Skaven
Gives the Skaven more vibrant red eyes, similar to their look in Vermintide! Still, I lacked the ability to make them glow or have their own internal light like in that game. Dryrain’s Skaven Reskin was used as the base.
All the Skaven troops and Legendary Lords got the red eye pass, except for Skrolk since he’s blind, Ikit Claw because green eyes fit thematically/artistically and the Plague Priest because of wrappings and the weapon teams because of goggles. Assassin hero I couldn’t find his texture file, but he had dead, milky eyes anyway.
Only other change I did was take away the blue oxidized rust from the Stormvermin gear. All Skaven have crappy, ramshackle gear as their aesthetic, but Stormvermin keep the very best for themselves, and I thought it looked weird for them to have nice polished torso armor and then rusted out crests on their helms.
This is not compatible at all with Dryrain’s Reskin Compilation II (which includes original Skaven reskin), despite my best efforts. The game will crash if you have both on. It’s probably something simple with file names, but I’m too burnt out to chase it down right now, my hard drive is barely functioning, had to install this game on another computer just to upload this mod!
Also will not work properly with Uniforms and Heraldry.
ANYWAY
Hopefully ya’ll enjoy it, I’ve been wanting red eyed Skaven for a while now! I will update this when the Skaven get new Lords/Heroes/units as well.
