Introduction

This is the second mod in the Vaults of Vagar series and it adds a number of static weapons for both defense and heavy siegework. All of them work in Vanilla, but I strongly suggest using this mod with Combat Extended (it’s CE compatible!), because this way you’ll get to use all of the weapons’ features!

Lore

Living as clans aboard cyclopean forge-ships, the Vagar are an entirely void-borne people. Because of this, they rarely employ static weapons other than the Tarantula turrets, armed with heavy bolters. Nevertheless, Vagar warsmiths have designed a number of mortars which are intended to be sold to mercenaries, warlords or an occasional colony on the Rim.

Contents

This mod contains seven weapons:

• "Grendel" heavy bolter on a tripod
• "Tarantula" heavy bolter turret
• "Tarantula-Volkhv" machinegun turret
• "Salamander" automatic mortar
• "Syrbotas" heavy siege mortar
• Portable chemfuel-powered generator

With Combat Extended installed, these weapons use custom ammo types:

• 8x59mm “Volkhv” rounds
• 23x55mm heavy bolts

Requirements

This mod requires the Vaults of Vagar mod.
