Musketeer Plus
Supports all localizations. The Musketeer DLC is required.
This mod is a very simple and straightforward vanilla-esque rework of the Musketeer class that is specifically designed to be compatible with various skins for the base game Musketeer. Also features all the fixes from my Musketeer Fixes mod.
Compared to my other rework, this one attempts to keep the original look and feel of the Muskeeteer (so no new animations and stuff). Instead of changing everything drastically, all the skills and items were carefully tweaked to provide fresh but familiar gameplay. Think of this new rebalanced Musketeer like a subclass to the Arbalest – she plays similarly to the Arbalest, but all of her skills and trinkets have some sort of a twist to them (kind of like what Red Hook did in the Circus dlc to separate them but more unique).
That being said, there are some notable differences between them:
- Musketeer does more DMG but is somewhat squishier and has less CRIT.
- She focuses on armor piercing: some skills and trinkets provide a bonus to it.
- Her heal is now an over-time effect similar to how the Flagellant’s heal works.
- She lost the ability to move the enemies but can now move herself.
- She can’t clear stuns and marks anymore but can now remove mortality debuffs in camp.
- Her marking skill features a unique Crits received debuff instead of DODGE.
Musketeer Plus is compatible with:
- Musketeer skins and palette extenders *
- Courtyard Plus by Moon/Void Slime et al.
- The Butcher’s Circus DLC
* – must be above this mod in the load order in order to work
And incompatible with mods that change:
- Crimson Court or CoM trinkets (Trinket Rebalance, Trinket Overhaul Project, etc.)
- Base game camping skills
- Musketeer’s camping skill icons
