Magnum Opus – Great Person Adjustments
Magnum Opus reorganizes the Great People in the game to be more correct in their particular eras. For example, Van Gogh is no longer an Atomic Era Great Artist, but an Industrial Era one. Magnum Opus also adds over 50 new Great People to help fill in the blanks and ensure that there are at least 3 of each type of Great Person per era (except for Great Prophets, which end in the Renaissance Era). Some of the new Great People added include Frida Kahlo, Jan Hus, Agatha Christie, Enzo Ferrari, and Christopher Tin.
Please note that some of the base game Great People have had their abilities modified so that they do not become over- or under-powered in their new eras. A full list of tweaks can be found in the Change Notes on this page.
The goal for Magnum Opus is to release small themed packs every month or so with additional Great People. If you have a suggestion for a Great Person you’d like to see added, feel free to post it in the discussion below. There are no guarantees that that person will be added, however.
