Attributes/Ethos Matters!

This mod is an attempt to rebalance the game to make certain features more interesting while still prioritizing compatibility. It achieves this by changing very few files.
This mod changes very few files and is compatible with almost everything. It works fine with AGOT. Don’t worry with loading order.
For a better CK3 experience, try these two mods listed below.
- Chat GPT Flavor Pack (Lots of new content with high roleplay and strategic value that is fully compatible with everything!)
- Royal Court for Dukes (Courts for Dukes addressing the court language issue, plus reworked amenity costs/buffs)
- Base Game Balance Nerfs applied to every ruler to make character and game progress slower (lifestyle, fascination, gold costs, etc). Characters will no longer be all-knowing-sages by old age, nor cultures will reach late medieval age a century before historical dates, spoiling all the fun.
- Completely reworked attribute modifiers. They are now more balanced. Characters can be versatile and still specialize in something. Powerful buffs like domain limit for stewardship and general opinion for diplomacy were diluted, and you won’t suffer greater penalties for not investing in them.
- Ranks reworked to increase base domain limit.
- Stewardship no longer gives domain limit.
- There is now a passive buff for dreadful rulers, as intimidated/cowed vassals pay more tax/levy.
- Reworked Diplomatic Range, very short for counts and normal for emperors. Nordics and Nomads have their own buffs!
- Added a passive defensive advantage on own territory for minor ranks.
- Reworked Piety and Prestige level bonuses and maluses. They will strongly resonate with either Zealot or Glory Hound vassals.
- Reworked Stress modifiers. Now they also give dread.
- Reworked Debt Levels to simulate rulers throwing their prestige away to raise funds.
- Debt years for hiring mercs have been raised. Better lose money and prestige than your titles!
- Reworked Cultural Ethos buffs. Ethos are now the most significant aspect of a culture, impacting even the AI Personality.
- Levies are slightly stronger, with bonuses related to Cultural Ethos.
- Reworked education traits. They are now better.
- Minor defines changes: to raise the number of children while lowering life expectancy.
- Minor defines changes: More prestige from marriages and loot for raiding.
- Minor defines changes: Warfare improvements for a better quality of life.

It may seem complicated, but this is still a very simple mod that changes very few files and lines of text. The goal is to improve the game while maintaining compatibility with overhaul mods.
