Americas Character DNA
Update: I’m proud to announce that a portion of the DNA from this mod has been integrated into vanilla Victoria 3 as of update 1.5! At this time the mod does not have DNA for the new historical characters added in 1.5 and Colossus of the South, but you will still find it useful for providing DNA for all existing historical figures in the Americas whose DNA has not been integrated into vanilla.

All historical characters from the Americas now have DNA! At last everyone looks remotely like themselves and you can stop being annoyed by real historical figures having randomized appearances. At least in the western hemisphere. I may take on the rest of the world’s characters eventually.
The only historical American characters who still have random DNA are those for whom no surviving images exist to my knowledge. I also made some modifications to character clothes so that Benito Juárez doesn’t wear indigenous clothes, Abraham Lincoln doesn’t wear a monocle, etc. I made a few other minor changes to certain characters to correct innacuracies I noticed such as birth dates.
This mod is not compatible with any mods that touch on character clothing or any of the starting characters or character templates for American countries.
