1. What kind of mod is it?
If you’ve played EU4, it’s a concept very similar to government reform.
It’s a mod which you choose step-by-step bonuses with ‘Industrial Focus Points’ obtained proportionally to the number of factories each month.
There are three types of industrial focus: heavy industry, light industry, and resource industry.
You just need to choose the industry you want to fully invest in.
2. Why was it created?
I made it because I felt that specialized industries for each country weren’t very prominent in Victoria 3.
In this mode, powerful bonuses are given to specific factories every 4, 6, and 8 steps. Therefore, collecting bonuses will create a product that is overwhelmingly superior to other countries.
As this strong absolute advantage arises, I think there’s even more reason to engage in trade.
3. Will AI also use this?
Yes. Countries that have higher or same rank of Unrecognized Regional Power will use this system.
4. Compatible mods
Since this mod adds a tab on the left, it probably won’t be compatible with mods that also add a tab on the left. ‘Foreign Investment and Dividend’ mod is made to be compatible, but not sure about the rest.
Mods that don’t mess with the UI will be compatible.
