Dutch Garbage Trains
A Dutch built TADS trash wagon of the second third generation as built by the Dutch rolling stock manufacturer Werkspoor in 1963. These wagons were used by the Dutch waste disposal company or VAM. After their replacement by the TAKKLS type wagons they were bought up by Talbot between 1987 and 1990. Talbot then refurbished them for use in the transport of woodchips and sawdust, a role in which they were used until 2005.
It carries 60 tonnes of waste (all types, even fertilizer and scrap), weight is 30 tonnes when empty, has two LODs and has three skins:
– Original gray color scheme
– VAM compost
– VAMORA composted soil
Purchasable with dollars.
Why would you use this wagon over the vanilla trash wagons?
– Almost double the capacity of the standard EAS waste wagon
– Can be sold to the soviet union for good profits since it’s a western wagon
– Looks fancier with no visable waste (might smell a little less too)
– Can be used with the rail distribution office like the vanilla trash wagons
Another wagon type, TAKKLS, was built in 1970 in Yugoslavia by Fabrika Vagona Kraljevo
This wagon is purchasable with rubles. So it provides an alternative to the Tads should you trade more with the eastern bloc.
It carries 60 tonnes of waste like the tads (all types, even fertilizer and scrap), weight is 30 tonnes when empty, has two LODs and has seven skins:
– VAM compost
– VAM 60th anniversary blue
– VAM potted plant soil yellow
– VAM recycling yellow/green
– VAM large logo
– VAM compost GFT (GFT meaning Vegetables Fruit and Garden waste)
– REGAM gas from waste white
The Takkls is available from 1970 to 1998
That should be all!
