[WOTC] ADVENT Assault MEC Cosmetics 2023

This mod adds the looks of Claus’ ADVENT Military Assault MECs to your SPARKs for all armor tech levels, as well as the shotgun they use as a ghost template.

It’s also a pseudo re-master of the original Assault MEC Cosmetics pack.
I say "pseudo" re-master because i didn’t actually know the original existed when i was making this mod. In fact, i built this off the enemy mod, not the cosmetic pack.

I was just as bewildered when i found out two hours after publishing this mod as you are reading that statement.

It’s independent from both the original mods though, neither are required.
The only thing extra that’s needed is Shen’s Last Gift, for… obvious reasons.

The torso has 3 variants, achieved because the gun mount assembly is built as a detachable part – one with no mount, one with the mount but no gun, and one with the mount + gun.
The gun doesn’t actually do anything, obviously, it’s a cosmetic part. It’s great if you want that hulking Metal Gear look, though.

There’s 7 arm variants total.
The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th feature various levels of armor, sorted by least to most plating.
The original enemy mod had asymmetrical arm plating, this is the 7th.

The parts should work fine with any of the Vanilla spark parts. I didn’t extensively test this so don’t hold me to my word on that if you find any jank.

Everything is tintable, and this also includes the ability to tint the body lights with the Secondary Armor tint.
But if you don’t like that feature and/or you can’t make it look good with certain colors, i’ve added variants with locked emissive colors.

The Assault MEC Shotgun in this pack is a ghost template running on Template Master, so to access it, you either need to use XSkin (the easiest option) or do some configuring with Weapon Skin Replacer or Template Master itself.

Its template name is ‘AssaultMecShotgun’ and it applies to SPARK cannons, naturally.

• ADVENT Assault MEC (SPARK – 1 Head – 3 Torsos – 7 Arms – 1 Legs)

• Template Master – REQUIRED for the Assault MEC Shotgun to function.
• One Million Colors – The vanilla game has terrible color control, so you might want this or another color palette expander.
• XSkin – Allows you to freely re-skin any SPARK rifle you want into the Assault Shotgun. If you do use this, remember to turn the ‘Owned’ filter off.

• The shoulder cannon’s just for show, sadly.

• Claus – Original creator of everything featured in this pack.
