‘Lonsdale’s FV4034 Challenger 2’ is a mod that adds legacy and modern FV4034 tanks to Arma 3. In ArmA 3, The British Challenger 2 has been surprisingly neglected compared to its rivals and counterparts such as the M1 Abrams, only having two popular mods including the vehicle, Burnes Armories and CUP, with the former being discontinued and the latter only having a basic, unmodified CR2 MkI from the Training Fleet, This mod aims at adding much more diverse variants of the CR2 from the Training Fleet and War Fleet for British Milsims and regular players to run wild with.

This mod uses freely accessible, declassified and publicly available material on challenger’s specifications and performance, Challenger crewmen and ex-crewmen have been consulted for information, but all sources are based on infomation publicly avalible online, As such this mod should not be used for any real-life comparisons against this Challenger 2 and its Competitors as there is likely a large rift between this mod and its real-life counterpart in terms of technical accuracy.
– Driver Turnout and hatch animations are still bugged
– Copecage and Birdcage are both low-quality
– L30A1 WP Shells simply deploy a single smoke cloud, not covering enough area.
