Reasonable Historical Direction
Early Modern Era finally authentic.
This mod attempts to preserve the vanilla Europa Universalis IV feel while improving the authenticity issues with the game.
-Insititution spread MASSIVELY decreased. States will struggle with technology improvements. The world will now be Eurocentric. Things like institution growth from development are also drastically decreased.
-Technologies now extremely more difficult to research without proper institutions.
-Colonization speed decreased by a big margin in order to prevent the Americas, Africa and Australia from being fully colonized in 1600s. American Natives now achieve their Federation bonuses in about 3x the time in vanilla, allowing colonizers to experience colonization without huge native settled states.
The mod helps maintaining the historical direction especially for the megacampaigns, from Crusader Kings to Victoria.
Not Ironman compatible. Best used with other mods from the collection.
