Age of Bronze – Population Submod
This mod adapts the ‘People of Rome 2’ population script for Age of Bronze.
Since AoB was released less than a week ago it understandably has some stability issues and is likely to undergo some changes early on. Therefore, I did not integrate the full depth of the scripts’ economic and population features related to the building chains and have adjusted the active growth modifiers to account for this.
Modifying the base growth rates are cultural multipliers specific to Egypt and the Hittites, representing the differences in their cultures. For example, the Nile was much more productive, stable and predictable compared to other river systems, making Egypt a relative paradise. Due to this and other factors they were xenophobic and had very little incentive to settle elsewhere. This is reflected in their cultural growth modifier being significantly lower than the Hittites.
The city, town and resource building chains, as well as the temples also provide growth modifiers.
