This is the compatibility/reduced version of Medical Treatment Rebalance mod. It is designed to operate with other mods that alter the AIM merc starting gear at the cost of extended gameplay elements of this mod.

Instead of picking mercs according to their medical supply contribution for the team, in this compatibility mod your team gets a fixed amount of starting meds to get control over the early game requirements of meds. It is recomended to use the full version of this mod whenever you do not plan on using any other mod that alters the starting gear of AIM mercs, which you can find here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3026155126

– increased difficulty with vastly increased meds demand: 20 instead of 5 per treatment in sector operations
[- additional meds starting supply of AIM mercs] deactivated & replaced with increased team meds supply
– visit hospitals more often to care of your health
– buy meds on markets to fill up your supplies
– plan your squad wisely with respect to the new challenge

The purpose of the mod is to force the player to make more meaningful decisions regarding meds and the use of hospitals.
-> No more stacking up thousands of meds without any future use while looting.
-> More advantage from hiring medical guy early on.
-> Use of hospitals to save meds and markets to stock up on them is promoted.
-> Unload unused med kits is promoted.

The compatibility version of this mod is compatible with other mods that do not change the mechanics of sector operation medical treatment.It can be used with other mods that change the starting gear of AIM mercs. It can also be played with Basic Crafting Economy instead of the dedicated version and works as well with reduced functions but increased compatibility.

The mod can be installed and removed during a run. If you deactivate the mod the medical treatment costs are going to switch back to 5.

When installing and activating the mod first time, remember to restart the game to make it work.
