Strateigos_2.7.4 Version

The campaign is designed for a game with 30-35 units in a stack.

This mod is not designed to interact with any other mods.
The recommended difficulty level for the campaign and tactical battles used for testing the mod is "Hard" or "Normal."
Players unfamiliar with the mod’s features are advised to begin play for the main major factions on "Normal."

For players who do not heed the author’s recommendations to play with increased stack sizes, a submod is required that partially corrects the negative gameplay consequences of such a decision:

Major changes:

Strategic section reworked.

1. The main campaign has been moved to the map from the "Emperor Augustus" DLC.
2. The mod now includes a system of "personal bonuses" for factions controlled by the mod. AI.
These bonuses are enabled for factions neighboring the player’s faction, which have historically been their main rivals and the most significant factions in a given period.
3. Different subcultures have been given their own AI behavior settings on the strategic map, best suited to their respective factions.
4. The main campaign is based on four turns per year.
5. The recruitment system has been revised; it will differ for different cultures.
6. A limitation system for the faction’s "native" troops and the most combat-ready AOR units has been introduced for all non-barbarian states.
7. Garrisons have been completely redesigned. A "large garrison" system is used.
8. The economic model has been changed. Different subcultures have different building profitability and income structures.
9. Temples, stadiums/circuses, scientific and sanitary buildings now consume a portion of the provincial budget, increasing with the building’s level.
10. The amount of money generated "out of thin air" has been minimized.
11. Edicts have been revised – their purpose in the mod is to force the player to choose not between good and best, but between what is most important to them at the moment and what they are willing to sacrifice to achieve it.
12. Domestic politics have been made more significant for strategic gameplay.

Custom tactical model.

The mod uses its own version of group troop formations for both the player and the AI.
For the Hellenistic, Roman, and Eastern cultural groups, the faction formation buttons have been updated with new default formations used by the AI ??for these subcultures, or the most suitable formations from related subcultures.
Formations for the AI ??are defined taking into account the specifics of the faction lines and the recommended AI stack balance.
A morale system has been introduced, which applies a greater number of morale effects to a unit at a given time in various circumstances.
Most troop "abilities" have been removed, as without them, the AI, with the current settings, acts more proactively and appropriately to the situation.
Siege Battles Improved where possible.
Special "siege" traits for AI generals and a special set of siege equipment have been introduced.
AI siege equipment is distributed to AI generals based on the subculture’s civilization level.
The mod implements an important combat rule from the melee era: counterattacking units of the same type with a counterattack, at least in the final meters.
In this case, the battle calculation will be equal for units with identical characteristics, as they will have the same set of combat bonuses.
Fleets have been completely redesigned for non-barbarian factions.
Naval reforms have been introduced for some nations.
The mod has its own retextures for vanilla and custom units and is not designed to use third-party retextures.
Retextures and new units are made from materials provided by S.W.A.T. and partially recycled.

The Strateigos mod uses:
"Your People’s Trust" Prime
"GC on IA" Teos
