A lot of quality of life and assorted features. Multiplayer and ACE compatible.
In MP, this mod is required by clients and server. All features work in SP. Detailed thread.
Weapon & Inventory
- Equip Next Weapon: Swap to next rifle/launcher in inventory. Next weapon displayed on unit.
- Holster Weapon keybind: (Unassigned) Frees hands.
- Firemode Control: Restricts firemode cycling to main muzzle. Dedicated keybind for other muzzles (GL, etc).
Visual Effects
- NV Effects [Standalone option]: Simulates optical degradation with dynamic clarity based on device gen & ambient light. Six color presets, auto IR illuminators. Autodisables if ACE Nightvision.
- Humidity Effects: (Visual FX only by default) Blur + muffled sound based on fog & player position.
- Cold Breath: (Off by default) Intensity varies with temperature & stress.
- Heat Haze: (Off by default) Appears on hot surfaces (asphalt, sand).
UI
- Damage Feedback [Standalone option]: Damage display (bottom right). ACE Medical compatible.
Movement & Stance
- Restrict Stance: (Off by default) AI group members won’t stand in stealth/combat mode.
- Moving crouched is tiring: (Off by default) Crouched movement drains stamina faster.
Audio
- Disable S.O.G. Prairie Fire Voices: Toggle ambient voices for US, AU, and NZ units separately.
Miscellaneous
- Disable aiming when unconscious.
- Disable Death Blur.
AI Behavior
- AI Stop for Healing: AI stops when player heals them. Player gets score.
- AI Stop when Opening Backpack: AI stops when player accesses their backpack.
- AI Predator Defense: (Off by default) AI attack nearby dangerous predators.
AI Equipment
- Add Lights to AI: Infantry without lights get weapon light/headlamp.
- BettIR Auto Enable for AI: Auto-enables NVG/illuminator for AI. Needs BettIR.
- AI Auto IR Laser: AI briefly enable IR laser when firing.
ACE Compatibility
- Auto-add ACE Map Flashlights: Adds ACE map flashlight if missing & inventory space.
- Auto-add ACE Clackers & Defusal Kits: Adds ACE firing device & defusal kits if needed.
Environment & Weather
- Brighter Moonlight [Standalone option]: Full moons brighter. Works on any terrain + Eden. Two modes.
- Rain Poncho Reacts to Water: Ponchos swap wet/dry versions. MGSR ponchos only.
- Slide in Slopes: (Off by default) Players may slip on slopes.
Map & Navigation
- Map Icons Only with GPS: (Off by default) Hide map icons unless GPS or vehicle GPS.
Audio
- Disable Voices for Creatures: No voice lines for zombies/animals/incapacitated.
Gameplay
- Recon Drone: (Requires Recon Drone Dispenser) Launch/control AR-2 drone briefly. Configurable laser, radar, NV, TI, and altitude limit. Ghost Recon inspired.
- Fatal Wounds: Dead units may play fatal wound anim based on hit zone. Screams possible.
