It’s time to smash!

Introducing, the Masked Ranger, (Or Masky for short), G.B.A’s raging alter ego of vengeance!

A Brawler-type character who focuses on gaining meter to throw out powerful enhanced versions of his specials and manoeuvres.

Neutral Special: Flare Blaster
Fire a heatwave of pressure from Masky’s fist. Useful for checking an opponent from a distance and as a stopgap in combos.

Side Special (Normal): Raging Choke
Masky will lunge himself forward with his hand extended out and infused with fire. Upon contact, he’ll grab the opponent and blast them into the air after grabbing them.

Side Special (Fiery): Raging Slam
Masky will lunge himself forward with his hand extended out. Upon contact, he’ll grab the opponent, go upwards before descending down to slam the grabbed opponent into the ground with a fiery finish.

Up Special (Normal): Flighty Upper
Lifting himself into the air, Masky will perform an uppercut move. If struck early or hit the right hitbox, Masky will carry the opponent along with him which leads to him dunking them away.

Up Special (Fiery): Flaming Upper
Under the effects of the Fiery Trigger, this replaces Flighty Upper as Masky will rise up with a multi-hit fiery uppercut instead. If you continue to hold down the special button, Masky will transition into him coming straight back down with another multi-hit that leads to an explosive finish on the ground if landed.

Down Special: Sceptre Burst
Masky casts a flame on the ground that will travel across the stage or platform where he can detonate it to release the trusty Sceptre onto the stage. And while the Sceptre is out, you can ignite it with Flare Blaster, Raging Choke, Raging Slam or Flaming Upper, where it will become a torch of sorts with a multi-hit attack until a specific amount of time has passed to extinguish the fire.

Fiery Combust Status
Similar to how his other self’s firepower works, for every fire-based move Masky uses, it stacks a fire count on the opponent. Starting from 1 that reaches to 8. And once it reaches 8, if the opponent gets hit again by any fire attack, they will soon erupt into an explosive fiery combustion!

Fiery Trigger
Inspired by Street Fighter V Luke’s V-trigger, unique to Masky is a recharging meter gauge, granting him modified specials, attacks, stats and so on. And just like how it works from the source material, it depletes whenever he takes hits or uses his enhanced specials.

Gliding
Holding down your jump button of choice, Masky can temporarily glide downwards. A decent recovery option and move extension.
