Actual Day-/Nighttime Mod
This is a little modproject of mine. I will (try to) update this mod every Sunday so it will show the actual amount of daylight of this week (approx.). In other words, I syncronize every sunday the time of sunrise and sunset.
It is some sort of a "maintained" longer nights mod of mine.
This mod only changes the time when the sun rises or sets, not the time progression itself!
Since SCS made a good job of implementing such a system, I just need to change a date. It will change the times accordingly to the location on the map. So the sun will go up in Warsaw earlier than in Paris. And the sun will stay up longer in summer in Oslo than in Rome.
Compatible with any mod. Please set this one on a higher priority as any Map or Weather mod.
Due to very problematic calculations of headlight violations, you can also use this mod by "DRDAVETECH" https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3019030108 . It removes just the headlight fines and you don’t have to worry about it anymore. It will conflict with other "fining" mods tho, so be aware of that.
IMPORTANT: Switch timezones ingame off in wintertime! It doesn’t take the real sunrise or -set times into account, it will be off one hour.
If you want to play with timezones switched on, use Winter Time Zones [ETS2] by tkk7406 together with my mod. His mod should be nearly as high priority as mine (one below).
You need to switch the mod off, when daylight saving time is active.
