Slovak Republic Mod (1939–1945)

First Slovak Republic, Slovak State – a puppet state established on March 14, 1939, completely politically and militarily dependent on the Third Reich. Throughout its entire existence, it was headed by Fr. as president. Jozef Tiso. The office of prime minister was held successively by: Jozef Tiso, Vojtech Tuka and Štefan Tiso. The political system prevailing in Slovakia at that time was clerical fascism.
Slovak armed forces took part on the side of Germany in the invasions of Poland and the USSR. Formally, this state existed until May 1945.
