The Iron Bank Always Gets Its Gold
The Iron Bank Always Gets Its Gold, or TIBAGIG, is a very simple balance mod for the iron bank in A Game of Thrones. When loaded after that mod, TIBAGIG makes it impossible to choose to not pay the Iron Bank. This mod is primarily intended for multiplayer games although might also be valuable to those that would choose to not have the option to exploit the Iron Bank.
Changes:
- Trying to worm your way out of debt by dying won’t work. The Iron Bank will come calling two years after death, or one year if you’ve started paying instalments.
- When you ask for more time, you will be given two years on both occasions, rather than two years followed by six months.
- You cannot refuse to pay. If you reach the third event, they will take their money.
Compatibility
This mod only changes two files. If the following files are unchanged by the other mods that you are using, aside from A Game of Thrones, this mod should be compatible.

I’ve attempted to test this thoroughly but would welcome any bug reporting if I’ve missed edge cases where the loans get messed up, or if I’ve missed something blindingly obvious, of course.
