Ira Smythe
Ira went to Arulco from the United States five years prior to the events down there, so she could be a part of an effort to provide humanitarian aid.
However, she then noticed that the country needed help to get rid of the dictator, Deidranna Reitman, and took up the flag of the rebels in order to do some greater good and fight oppression.
She is a college graduate, with a degree in the humanities, a human rights activist and environmentalist.
After the fall of Deidranna, Ira helped the Arulcans to build up their homes and go back to their normal lives.
Due to the recommendation of Dr. Donna "Spider" Houston, the A.I.M. asked Ira if she would be interested to join and put her teaching and medical skills into use for other people in need.
She accepted the offer under the condition of getting free training for her first year there so she can improve her Marksmanship and acquire additional, necessary skills.
Now she is ready for action and looking forward to go to her first mission!
