War Plans
Are you tired of the lack of decisions when faced with war? Whether to focus on crushing your enemy or to focus on protecting your homeland? Defending your naval trade routes or destroying your opponents? Showing leniency to your enemy or leaving their country a smoldering ruin? How to present your war to the eyes of the world? And changing your strategy to the ire of your armed forces because things aren’t going as planned?
If you answered yes to any of this then you need to make a diplo pact with this mod.
Within a month of being in a diplo play you will get a chain of events to decide how you want to conduct the war. The events give you modifiers for war, loyalists, radicals, infamy, etc. If you are already at war then you will not get the event chain. If you have the professional army or mass conscription law then you can take a decision to change your war plans in the middle of a war at a cost to your armed forces approval. AI have weights for choosing what to pick in the event chain depending on things like ruler traits, ruler ideologies, laws, naval strength, and AI strategies. Upon no longer being at war with anyone you will get an event to demobilize within a month.
I have content that I did not release for how to fund your war. I have decided to leave that out as the AI decision making for what to pick will be incredibly difficult to gauge. Also, it’s just way too good for already rich nations, so it requires more balance. Depending on new features in 1.5 I might add more content to this.
This should work with any mod. This is compatible with 1.4. I recommend using this with my other war mod: Winning or Losing War Matters
