Designed to be a cheap gun (2.1$ per gun),the Liberator was meant to be supplied to partisans behind German lines so that they could have a way of getting better weapons (The intent was that you’d use one to kill a German soldier,and then steal his gun,that’s what the last screenshots represent even though you can’t do it in-game),the Liberator was a complete failure.It was less accurate than a flintlock pistol,and maybe as complex to load ( How to reload the gun [upload.wikimedia.org] diagram on how to reload one).They were supposed to be dropped in bags with 10 rounds that would be stored in the grip,but no significant numbers were ever given to partisans,as the Sten was much more effective as a mass supply weapon.There is only one claim of a Liberator killing a German soldier,and only some were given in very small numbers to French and Greek civilians.Most ended up being dumped into the sea or sold as scrap by the British.
We’ve had this gun done for a long time (several months),but we hadn’t released it until now,idk why
