What is this?

Addon that brings ‘realistic’ fragmentation to Garry’s Mod. The new system shoots "bullets" (shrapnel) in all directions, creating chaotic explosions that immerse you in the battlefield.

⚠️WARNING: May cause lag spikes during explosions on older computers

*On my PC with default settings, fragment calculation takes ~0.005 seconds (5ms)

Features
  • Customizable fragments – Modify the damage, ammount and type of fragments (traces or bullets)
  • Ricochet system – Fragments will bounce off surfaces if they hit at an appropriate angle
  • Visible fragments* – Some fragments are now visible as they fly through the air
  • Whitelist – Add sounds that trigger explosions (now works in multiplayer)
  • Custom sounds – Hear the shrapnel fly by your head!
  • Dynamic Weapon Reverb support

*works only with bullets

For developers

You can use:

RFS:CreateShrapnell(int number_of_fragments, vector position, bool isBullets)

to manually create explosion fragments.
