[1.12] New Convenient Building Categories
Updated to 1.12
Adapted to the new database mod syntax, offering better compatibility. This mod should now be free of compatibility or obsolescence issues in the future.
Update and simplification for the old Mod, adapted for 1.12
Original Mod:
Update: Moved Financial Districts and Manor Houses into development as well.
Paradox’s building splitting rendered the original mod completely ineffective, but they only adopted a portion of the original mod, leaving Town Center, Art Institute, and Trade Center in the "City" category. This means players still have to scour the entire category (and more factories) to find them.
Differences from the original Mod:
Only one line of code was modified to change the category positions of Town Center, Art Institute, and Trade Center. This will remain effective as long as game updates don’t affect them, with no compatibility issues.
Change the category of the following buildings to "development":
Urban Center
Art Academy
Trade Centre
Financial Districts
Manor Houses
