Description:

Just a mod I’m making make things more fun for me. Main things: realistic LOS, increased distance scaling, precision MLRS for both sides, and Freedom Decks!

RECENTLY UPDATED:
– Finally gave recon units smoke!
– More cosmetic changes to make tracers less exaggerated
– tweaked SA and AA missiles to make them a little more chaotic

KNOWN ISSUES…
– Defensive units don’t have health bonus and speed reduction at the moment
– AI reverted back to original characteristics while I work out some things

SO FAR…….
AI TWEAKS
– First Attempt at AI tweaks! See "AI Tweaks" discussion for details.

SCLAING
– Distance scaling x 2 (2m is now 1m, projectiles go faster, ranges doubled, supply radius doubled, etc.)
– Aircraft turn radii x 1.8
– Unit speeds reduced to 50% but increased road speed bonus by 60%
– Suppression radius of all weapons doubled, splash damage radius x 1.5
– reduce infantry rifle / submachine gun range (let’s be real, nobody is engaging with an m16 while standing at 800m)
– significantly increased SEAD detection range
– decreased AA missile speeds

NEW DECKS (the ones with no names)
– East German freedom deck
– US freedom deck
– Ukranian deck
– SOV feedom deck

GAMEPLAY
– Realistic LOS (can’t see through tree lines)
– 16 aircraft slots
– 65 activation points per deck
– Added 6000, 8000, 10000 point conquest modes
– Forward deployment for Field Supply Point and x 4 supply
– Fuel capacity x 5 // Supply capacity x 2
– Turned the M270 and BM27 into precision MLRS (1 shot, very accurate)
– increased stun duration (10 seconds)
– reduced arty dispersion with recon
– Increased damage reduction in forests and buildings by 10%
– Reduced income and unit bonus for Very Hard and Hardest AI difficulty
– reduced infantry non-combat speed but they are no longer made slower by various terrain types
– decreased AA missile speeds
– Increased health but decreased speed of all HMG and AT Team Defensive Units
– Vertical launch and impact of precision MLRS (longer time of flight)
– Increase infantry survivability when armored transports are hit (one or two survivors from helo crash, half survive usually from ground vehicle destruction)
– Indirect fire for helo rockets
– Helo’s no longer stun locked spinning in the same spot. More likely to route.

COSMETIC
– removed artillery/mortar shell smoke trails
– Less exaggerated helo pitch angles
– Removed dive bombing
– Changed Infantry MG tracers
– Reduced thickness of AA missiles smoke trails and move more chaotic
– Vertical launch and impact of precision MLRS
– 3D scaling now makes units realistic size (sorry if you liked using it to make them bigger)
– more realistic TOS1 rocket visuals

PLANNED…
– Sensor aircraft with no weapons but can see ground units
– Indirect fire for some unguided rockets (experimenting)
– replace helo stun for route (experimenting)
– Give recon and special ops infantry smoke grenades (parially done)
– Further refine AI adjustments (figure out how to make them attack in a large group)
