Slither Race
Updated for 1.1!
"An intelligent, bipedal reptilian creature with a mixture of human and snake-like anatomy. They have integrated almost seamlessly with human society in some parts of the galaxy."
Slithers are a playable race of anthropomorphized snakes created using the Humanoid Alien Races 2.0 framework. Besides their appearance, they have been designed to be only minimally different from Human pawns, so they can be added to most colonies with minimal accommodation.
Safe to add to existing saves, but not to remove.
– With five eye styles, two head styles, four tail styles, eleven colors, and the five vanilla body shapes, Slithers have over 2000 possible appearance combinations!
– Starting pawns, wanderers, refugees, and slaves will be replaced with Slithers about 15% of the time.
– Slithers will appear in raids, settlements, and trade caravans of other factions as well.
– A Slithers’ Comfortable Temperature range is 20°C to 30°C (68°F to 86°F), a slightly hotter temperature range than Humans.
– Slithers have a 10% stronger bite in unarmed combat, and are more likely to use their bite than Humans.
– Slithers have long, heavy tails that can help them with locomotion. In gameplay terms, their tail is equivalent to a third "leg", except that it lacks a foot or any bones.
My race mods should be compatible with virtually anything. Worst case scenario: I’ve patched some new entries into the base game’s PawnGroupMakers, so if a mod were to heavily modify or remove those, I’m not sure what would happen.

Everyone is allowed to utilize and/or modify any assets from this mod however they wish for any purpose. You have my full permission to publicly release anything you create using assets from this mod, even commercially. I ask that you credit me and provide a link to the Steam page for this mod with whatever you release; but I only ask that as a courtesy, not a requirement.
