The "Oppressor and Oppressed" event triggers on socialism researched and starts ‘The Spectre Haunting the World’ journal, which determines if communist ideologies becomes popular in your country or not.
The problem that this mod addresses is that you often need to cheese the journal to spread the revolution. Causing radicals isn’t a big deal, but if you did not plan in advance by decreasing your home affairs and police institutions, it can be quite awkward to get the socialist unrest needed within the 35 months.
+3 monthly socialist unrest will make it simpler for you to work toward the desired outcome of the journal, but it does not trivialise it, as seen in the banner image where 3 is still not enough due to institutions and loyalists.
Of course if you don’t want to encourage communism, simply select the other event option.
Overwrites event communism.10 – will be fine with 99.9% of mods.
