Hello and welcome to my Call of Duty: Modern Warfare SNPC pack! VJ Base is required for this to work.

Although it isn’t necessary for the addon to function, this mod is best used with xdshot’s L4D animations addon as it greatly enhances the CoD MW aesthetic of this mod by adding CoD-looking animations to the SNPCs.

Addon features:

-Adds infantry, tanks, and helicopters from Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2 into Garry’s Mod as VJ Base operated SNPCs!

-Features an all new weapon-switching system that allows the soldiers in this mod to switch to their side arms when an enemy is close!

-Each classes of soldiers use their side arms differently. Standard and LMG soldiers will only switch to their side arm when their primary weapon runs out of ammo, while rocketeers and snipers will immediately switch weapons when an enemy gets too close. Shotgunners on the other hand only use their primary weapon as it is preferable to use a shotgun up close.

-If you have ak47toh’s Modern Warfare SWEPs installed, you can enable a setting in this mod that allows you to pick up and use the weapons dropped by soldiers in this mod!

-Includes a multiple-voice system that gives each soldier a unique voice, so no two soldiers will have the same voice in this mod!

-Incorporates an optional auto-replace script that can transform your game into a more MW-like experience by tweaking the attributes of weapons from various VJ Base mods! See the pinned discussion for the list of supported VJ Base mods.

-The mod is developer friendly: it includes functions that make it easier for developers to make expansions for it!

Faction Information:

Allies
The Allies faction are every protagonist faction seen in the Call of Duty Modern Warfare series, from the SAS to the U.S Military. They were seen engaging in every major conflict in the series, such as the Second Russian Civil-War, and the eventual Russian Ultranationalist Invasion of the United States. The reason why they are all in the same category in this mod is because they are all seen supported by the same vehicles in the games.

Russian Ultrantionalists (CoD4)
The Russian Ultranationalists are a revolutionary political party and armed paramilitary force based in Russia. It was founded by Imran Zakhaev shortly after the collapse of the USSR. The Ultranationalists aim to return the country back to what it was during the days of the Soviet Union. They do believe that the Russian Federation has the best interests of the Russian people at heart, but in siding with Western interests both philosophically and economically, they perceive this to be destroying or weakening the Russian state. Tensions between the Ultranationalists and the Russian government begin to arise shortly after the party’s initial creation, which eventually leads to the Second Russian Civil-War.

OpFor
The OpFor is a revolutionary paramilitary faction lead by Khaled Al-Asad that seized power in the Middle East in 2011 following a violent coup d’état. This lead to a United States Marine Corps invasion where various USMC and OpFor forces engaged in an armed conflict. It later became apparent that the Ultranationalists had ties with the OpFor, as they supplied the OpFor with various equipment, including weapons, vehicles, other types of military hardware.

Russian Federation
Also referred to as the Russian Loyalists during the war, the Russian Federation Military opposed the Ultranationalists during the Second Russian Civil War; aiming to defend the established Russian Federal Government. They were aided by various SAS forces during the war, and later the USMC once intelligence that proved the Ultranationalists had ties with the OpFor was found.

Russian Ultrantionalists (MW2)
The Second Russian Civil War ends with a stalemate. Following the death of Imran Zakhaev, the Ultranationalist party reorganizes its leadership. Many of the extremist members of the party are kicked out, and their actions during the war are kept classified. A few years later, the Ultranationalist party ends up gaining the support of Russia’s people, and takes control of Russia via election. As such, many of the Russian Loyalists fled the contry to form their own Private Military Company elsewhere. The current Russian Ultranationalist Military is made up of newly enlisted soldiers as well as veterans of the Second Russian Civil War. The Ultranationalist party also re-branded many of Russia’s current imagery to be more Soviet, which is especially seen in their military.

It should also be noted that the OpFor had cut ties with the Ultranationalists at this point due to political differences, and are now hostile towards Ultranationalist forces.

Inner Circle
The Inner Circle is a Russian terrorist organization made up of all the banned extremist members of the Russian Ultranationalist party. The organization was founded by Vladimir Makarov. The Inner Circle opposes the current Ultranationalist government due to their banishment from the party. In 2016, Makarov as well as a few other Inner Circle members caused a massacre at a Russian airport, and had left evidence to suggest that the United States aided them in their attack. This results in the Ultranationalists declaring war on the United States, invading their country soon after.

Brazilian Militia
The Brazilian Militia is a large criminal gang residing in Rio de Janeiro. Circumstances with a Task Force 141 mission in Brazil led them to engage Task Force 141 forces in-battle.

Shadow Company
The Shadow Company is an elite covert unit of Private Military Contractors under the direct command of General Shepherd. While they do have access to American equipment, they have no connections to the official United States Military other than being lead by General Shepherd. They are typically deployed in various covert operations under Shepherd’s command.

Experiencing Issues?

1: Make sure you have subscribed to VJ Base and you have it enabled in Gmod.

2: It could be possible that the addon didn’t initialize correctly, restart the Gmod application to re-initialize it.

3: You might have installed an addon that is conflicting with this one. To check, disable all mods except for this one and VJ Base and load a map; then check to see if the issues still occur.

If the options above don’t work, please report the issue(s) along with any errors that might have appeared in the console.

Notes:

-Delta Force and GIGN Soldiers are planned to be added to this mod in the future, but because Human Grunt has yet to port any models from MW3, they are not included in this mod at the moment.
-Due to technical reasons, the vehicles in this mod do not use their models from the actual games, but they do use their sound effects.

Planned updates:

-Add Delta Force and GIGN Soldiers.
-Add Riot Soldiers.
-Add Vehicles for the Inner Circle.
-Add weapon-pick up support for Fesiug’s ArcCW MW2 Sweps.
