Bonible’s Roof Mounted Chaingun
Adds a roof-mounted chaingun that exchanges it’s protective shell for being able to fire overhead, and the technology to unlock it.
It has no damage resistance even when not firing, so you’d best put some good armor over this.
Furthermore, it also has a "high" turret collider like the Deck Cannon, so attempting to fire over it will result in your bullets being blockaded. Build your ships accordingly to this limitation.
The stats are a near 1:1 copy of the original’s, down to the bullet, turret aim speed and angle, ammo consumptions, etc; it is also compatible with additional chaingun magazines. However, compared to the original Chaingun, it’s cost is different:
