Chinese Railway 60kg/m Standard Track
The rails of Chinese railways are divided into heavy rails and light rails based on the weight per meter. The type of rail is represented by the mass of the rail per meter in kilograms. Various types of rails used on Chinese railways include 75kg/m, 60kg/m, 50kg/m, 43kg/m, and 38kg/m. Among these, 38kg/m rails have ceased production, 60kg/m and 50kg/m rails are laid on main lines, and 43kg/m rails are generally used for station lines and dedicated lines. 75kg/m rails are used for heavy-duty railways and particularly busy sections. In existing lines, the largest laid rail is the 60kg/m rail.
