Description:
Department of Diagnostics

This mod requires the Community Resource Pack.

This mod requires General Surgery and Neurology hospitalization to be open for the department to function as intended

This mod adds a new department to the game called Department of Diagnostics. This department is centred around rare and hard to diagnose diseases with an occurrence of 1:2000 or rarer. This mod requires the General Surgery department and Neurology department open to perform surgical treatments as I have made this department a non-surgical department.

What does this mod add?
– 28 New Diagnoses
– 6 New Treatments
– 8 New Surgery’s
– 4 New Examinations
– 11 New Symptoms (9 Regular and 2 Collapse)

About this mod
This department covers a broad spectrum of specialities with a focus on rare disease. The name Department of Diagnostics is partially inspired by the show House MD and also from there being no distinct speciality so the doctors are train in diagnostic skills in all specialities. A large portion of the patients in this department will be hospitalised and there will likely be more in HDU than regular wards. Given that the department is centered around rare diseases it also has a lower patient generation rate (patient weight: 20) than other departments (patient weight: 50) so expect a smaller department size being needed.

Language support
Currently English and French (nom d’utilisateur) is supported for this mod, I am more than happy to upload translations for other languages if anyone wants to help me make them.
