The Witch-Realm of Angmar
A Submod for Lord of the Rings: Realms in Exile
This submod allows the Witch-King to return to the north and reestablish the dreaded ancient kingdom of Angmar.
Mechanics
A decision is available for the Witch-King to return to Angmar. Before Sauron will allow this, Gondor must be destroyed or Arnor must be restored.
Upon returning to Angmar, an event will fire for the Witch-King to choose to either convert to the Cult of the Winter King and become its Head of Faith, or remain a faithful servant of the Lidless Eye.
Starting counties in Angmar, as well any future colonized or ravaged lands will convert to the culture of the Angmar Orcs.
Planned Future Mechanics
– Decisions to subjugate Gundabad, Anneithel, Forochel, and Rhudaur
– Opportunities to gain Gundabad Orc and Hillmen of Rhudaur Men at Arms
– Decisions to destroy several locations in Arnor as well as Rivendell, the Shire, and Lindon
– A decision similar to the Destroy Mordor decision for a resurgent Arnor to destroy Angmar and banish the Witch-King once and for all
Compatibility
Requires Lord of the Rings: Realms in Exile . Compatibility with Lord of the Rings: Realms in Exile OPEN BETA is NOT guarunteed, so use at your own risk.
Submods that edit colonization effects or Realms in Exile specific council tasks will not be compatible.
Load this mod after Lord of the Rings: Realms in Exile . DO NOT use this mod with existing saves. A new game is required.
