Wainriders factions are NOT designed to fight vanilla TDD factions at all, and should not be played against them.
Wainriders is a submod set in the 19th century of the Third Age of Middle Earth. A confederation of Easterlings called the Wainriders are sturred up by The Necromancer of Dul Guldur. They invade Rhovanion and slay King Narmacil II of Gondor in battle. In the same era, The Witch King of Angmar wages continual war against the last kings of Athedain. The dwarves still mine greedily for Mithril in Khazad Dum, unaware of the ancient evil lurking below!
FEATURES:
-SEVEN Book friendly and unique factions CURRENTLY, 13 planned!
including new takes on old faces like Gondor & Harad and lands lost long before the War of the Ring such as Athedain, Rhovanion, Angmar and Khazad Dum!
-Each faction includes smaller but highly distinct rosters that offer new experiences with each match! Not all tactics will work with all factions and players are forced at times to think outside the box of archers skirmish- cavalry engagement- infantry charge
-New balancing systems and formulas make for a unique, standalone experience NOT meant to be played with Vanilla TDD factions but a new take on battles in Middle Earth!
