Description:

Hello!

Welcome to my first building workshop item!

This building is heavily based on the real life Pollena Uroda factory, based in the North Praga district of Warsaw, in Poland.
In real life this building was built in the late 19th century, initially being known as the Joint-Stock Company of the Chemical Products Factory "PRAGA", later changed to „Schicht-Lever Fat Industry” Plant Joint-Stock Company.
It produced all manner of fat-related products, ranging from soap (the locally famed "White Elk"), through laundry powder, and even the equivalent of modern margarine – the "Ceres" edible oil.
Its ownership changed hands quite a few times throughout its existence, but under the socialist leadership, the plant was given the name "Uroda". The plant was later put under the Union of the Detergents and Cosmetics Industries, later known as Pollena, as such it gained its known name "Pollena-Uroda".

The plant in-game works as a chemical plant, but rather than utilising oil, gravel and wood, it uses meat (fat) as well as coal.
It employs 600 workers and contains many factory connections as well as a rail connection.
