VERSION 6.4

K hotkey (show HotKeys list);
Map settings are now saved in conquest.txt;
Fixed "Battalion name change" (to HQ);

New features:
Battalion Names
battalion_names_*.txt file is now available and contains the names of all Battalions (per PeriodFaction).
By default they are those created by NORESUS, but it is possible to replace them with customized ones (as is done in QG);
for example to have greater historical accuracy.
Files are created the first time you start a new Campaign.
A small number under the name (in HQ) indicates its line in the conquest.txt file: max. 25 characters for names.

IOS (Intelligence Operations System)
In addition to civilian information, military information is now also available.
The cost of corruption still depends on distance, but the amount of information depends on the Enemy Region Wealth.

Capitals now always have 1 Factory;
It is now possible to also access the ally’s HQ (between Soviet and USA);
Cursor keys activated to move the map;
Enemy Off-Map Support is only visible when bordering (or with IOS);

Added the feature to manage the Battalions separately (between Soviet and USA) in the HQ;

Esc (playpause Operations);
F12 (save Strategic Map file);

I (toggle NATO Battalion Icons);
M (toggle AI Move);

HeadQuarters:
H (open HQ);
S (swap between allies);

B (creates Mechanized Battalion);
L (creates Light Tank Battalion);
M (creates Medium Tank Battalion);
H (creates Heavy Tank Battalion);
A (creates Artillery Battalion);
Esc (close HQ).

Other keymouse combinations:
On Strategic MapMinimap:
MMB (drag Map);
LMB (move Map from minimap)

On Battalion Icon:
LMB & RMB (displays Battalion composition);
MMB (displays Battalion in HQ);
Alt+MMB (highlights Battalions by type);
Shift+LMB+ (displays possible attack directives);

On yellow Factory Icon:
MMB (displays Battalion under costruction in HQ);

Let’s start testing IOS (Intelligence Operations System)

By bribing Enemy Officials, depending on whether the Region is near or far away,
it is possible to know the level of wealth of the Enemy Region,
as well as any existing Infrastructure…
(in the next version we will add military IOS)

Added Intelligence Operations System (IOS);
Added some graphics features and tooltips;
Added the front_line variable (conquest.txt file) which, if set to true, dynamically highlights the Front Line;
Added the AI_sim variable (conquest.txt file): see note;
Fixed some minor bugs.

Note
By setting the AI_sim variable to true, it will be possible to view a simulation of the AI while it Moves and Attacks.
It is recommended to save the current Campaign (new feature in Exit) and start a new one.
The Simulation is for demonstration purposes only and depends on many factors.

Maps have now been localized by Front (as well as by Season):
Western Front
Spring & Summer: 22 Maps;
Autumn: 12 Maps;
Winter: 21 Maps.

Eastern Front
Spring & Summer: 57 Maps;
Autumn: 29 Maps;
Winter: 43 Maps.

Total maps: 185.
(To disable this constraint, set the maps_per_front variable in the conquest.txt file to false)

Fixed some minor bugs.

How NORESUS Skirmish Cooperative works
1) The Strategic Campaign will only be active on the Host side,
therefore Allies (friends) will only be able to participate in the ongoing Battle.
2) In order to activate the Cooperative function, both the Host and the Guests,
must set the cooperative variable in the conquest.txt file, to true (by default).

Host Side
3) Once NORESUS has been started, the Host must answer Yes when asked and provide the CODE, indicated by NORESUS, to those who will be Guests (friends).
4) The Host will make his attack move as he normally would when playing Local. The only difference is that NORESUS will create a PAK file (from 7 to 15 MB) and send it to a NORESUS online server. This package contains the files to sync Guest Mods.
5) In GoH he will choose NORESUS, SKIRMISH (NORESUS-SYSTEM), ONLINE SKIRMISH (instead of STRATEGIC MAP like when playing Local). Then click Create and wait until your friends have joined the server.

Guests Side
6) Once NORESUS is started, Guests will have to answer No when asked and enter the CODE received from the Host. It is advisable to wait a bit to give the Host time to carry out operations 4 and 5. Once the CODE has been confirmed, NORESUS will download the package from the NORESUS server, previously created by the Host, to synchronize the Mod. It will then close and it will automatically launch GoH.
7) In GoH, Guests will choose NORESUS, ONLINE GAME and join the Host’s server, confirming with READY.

Host Side
8) When all the Guests are ready, the Host clicks START.
9) End of Battle updates will only occur in the side DB Hosts.
