Description:

This an effort, mainly done by some community members. But also anyone who posted any bug in the official Amplitude forums is an indirect contributor.

We have been tracking and locally fixing these issues, so I prepared a mod with all the fixes we are aware, are easy to fix, and we are able to fix them in the XML side of the game.

These fixes couldn’t be made in time for the new prepatch version, so all we can do is keeping an updated fix mod with them.

Current version that applies is 1.5.60.

Added a ZIP file with the entire files changed, for people that don’t care about MP. They can replace the files from the ZIP with the ones in the public folder (effectively patching the game) and keep the achievements going.

How to patch the game with the Community Fixes changes

Gameplay Fixes

The highest on the list are the most impactful.

– Fixed that all bombardment damage improvements on the military tree had the same values.

– Hardship ready gave -100% FIDS penalty to planets without the colonization technology, and -75% on Republic/Hissho/Dictatorship variants. Is -50% and -25% as tooltip says.

– Fixed an error with destroying pirate lairs that caused desyncs in MP (Is more of a workaround, now you don’t get favor from Isander when you destroy pirates).

– Lost Cities (N-P Artifacts) has the approval properly added, before it was adding the entire population x 2 approval per each colonized planet. Also is shown properly on the System Approval tooltip.

– Missing base health regen ratio on friendly territory, added 7.5% (as in neutral is 5% and in owned is 10%, something in between).

– Fixed Nakalim buildings using relics getting also temple relics for the count instead only unassigned (research) relics.

– Nakalim Faction trait "-50% Science received from Ship Destruction", was applied twice (so had -75% real effect).

– Volyani senator skill "Infallible Authority" properly multiplies the FIDSI bonus with senator hero level.

– Heavenly Campus (Nakalim) now has a restriction of any anomaly in system, instead of reduced/negative anomalies.

– Fixed many Minor Faction, Pirates and Quest ship designs with modules pointing at empty module slots.

– Fixed that colonized planet resources could not get negative values (IE: Anomaly penalties).

– Fixed an error for quest objective progression in Unexpected Entropy pre-quest (chapter 0).

Visual feedback Fixes

While don’t affect gameplay in any way, errors in the visuals may lead to confusion.

– Unstable Isotope Machining and Focused Plasma technologies (Military T2) had swapped icon and description with one another.

– Cultural Invertics now is shown as faction-specific in the tech tree only to Hissho and Umbral Choir, who are the ones that have a faction-specific variant.

– Xirmisala minor faction Dust Dowsing law description with bad internal link, corrected.

– Immaterial Connection and Sublime University icon images fixed.

– Removed 10% health of built ships on Mavros Skunkworks tooltip description, as the building doesn’t have that effect.

– Changed Pug hero classification from Guardian to Overseer (already has the Overseer skill tree and hero ship).

– Gossamer Luxury effect (100% Trade value as Influence) is properly shown into the System Influence Tooltip as System Development upgrade (same as Eden Incense).

– Research Cities (vaulters variant of Optics Research Labs), shows the "on ecstatic" effect in the tooltip.

– Building and Population destruction percent are now shown properly on the ground battle window.

– Gjallarfire and pirate laser had weapon type unknown instead of energy on combat statistics.

– Flak damage is multiplied visually by module size in the weapon card (already does internally).
