Give Everyone A Chance – TW3K AI Modification
Are you tired of seeing Yuan Shao, Sun Jian, Gongsun Zan, Cao Cao, and Dong Zhou becoming Emperors in all of your 190 campaigns?
Then look no further! This mod increases the military aggressiveness, military spending, and faction potential for a whole bunch of unique, but underpowered AI factions in the 190 campaign for Total War Three Kingdoms; effectively mixing the odds and giving more variety to the endgame.
The factions benefitting from these buffs are:
– Han Sui
– Ma Teng
– Zheng Jiang
– Zhang Yan
– Liu Chong
– Kong Rong
– Liu Bei
– Tao Qian
– Yuan Shu
– Liu Biao
– Liu Yan
– Yan Baihu
– Wang Lang
– Liu Yao
– Shi Xie
– Yellow Turban Factions He Yi, Gong Du and Huang Shao
– Nanman Factions Meng Huo, Mulu, Lady Zhurong, Shamoke, Wutugu, Duosi and Yang Feng
This should make the outcome of the "Battle in the North" between Yuan Shao and Gongsun Zan less predictable and enable other surrounding factions like Kong Rong, Liu Bei, Zhang Yan, and Huang Shao to have a word in the conflict aswell.
Meanwhile, Sun Jian / Sun Ce used to dominate the entire south with their aggressiveness and military strength. Liu Yao, Wang Lang, Yan Baihu, Liu Biao and the Nanman factions will have something to say about this now.
Another problematic aspect of the campaign were the unique Yellow Turban AI factions, who usually got wiped after only a few turns because they suffered from having to deal with a dozen wars right from the start. The changes will now make them survive longer.
Additional Changes:
Many of the above mentioned factions don’t spawn with any good weapons, decreasing their Delegate values in fights and making them dependent on random item spawns.
To fix this issue I’ve added a couple of weapons to the disadvantaged factions leaders. They’ll spawn equipped with them when starting a new campaign.

Side Notes
– The mod was made to balance the 190 start date for the AI factions. With update 1.3, it now also supports the 182 start date, and with update 1.4 the support for the 194 start date was added. The 200 start date is currently not included, but will follow as soon as I get to play it.
– Works for all difficulties.
– The mod is compatible with version "Make Them Unique 3.3 (Wu Anguo)" (3rd August 2022) of MTU (MakeThemUnique). MTU needs to be put above my mod in the mod manager.
