The Wyvern is an early to mid game combat CV. It is purpose built as a CV killer and is able to easily dispatch Imerat destroyers, if flown correctly.
It is a small CV without any amenities, no constructor and not even full medical facilities, so you may want to operate from a carrier. It could in theory be upgraded to core 9, but that would require quite a bit of creative usage of space. It does not come with any upgrade markers.
