Mod Dependencies!!

Without the following mods installed, this mod won’t have its full capabilities and might outright crash.
【Translated】Race Framework++
【Translated】Mod Production Extension + Ctrl-Skip dialogue

Reuse & redistribution

Everyone is allowed to use and make any modifications to my mod from source and redistribute on any internet platform, and also no need to ask for my permission. (Just don’t close-source or monetize it, alright xD?)

Though ideally it’d be nice to refer to my credit post that discloses all of the other Open Source mods that I used in mine.

How my mod’s been composed:
  • In-game Mod Creator: Every added NPC.
  • ModExcel (xlsx/json): Everything else that my mod has to offer.
  • Coding in C#: Absolutely nothing yet.
  • Models in Unity: Absolutely nothing and I don’t ever plan to, ’cause I’m awful at designing artistic stuff.

My xlsx/json files are partially structured in sub-folders. Any folder which name starts with ‘patch’ can be modified or deleted with no impact to the main Mod. Anything else might be dependent on each other. (In the future I might try to make my mod more modular as a whole.)

The mod’s main features:

Everything that my mod adds on top of the Vanilla game.

Added Races:

With [Translated] Race Framework++ installed you’ll see a dropdown list during character creation, from which ‘The Overlord’ is available at the bottom of the list for selection. Alternatively if you didn’t select it during creation, Race changes could be made at the character info panel.

  • The Overlord (see pictures)
  • Elder God (Mod-added NPC-only race)

Added Destinies:
  • (Nature) Overlord’s Soul: See the pictures
  • (Nature) Overlord’s Power: See the pictures (Effects have been migrated to Race passives)
  • (Nurture) Overlord’s Blessing: Stat boost for sect disciples, which is automatically applied to all sect disciples (including branches) every month. Can also be applied manually from the Cheat Menu.
  • (Nature) Overlord’s Curse: Reduces NPC’s stats by 100% and more (see screenshot). Can be added to NPCs if you’re using ‘The Overlord’ title and your character is on the no.1 cultivator board in Chi You.

The Cheat Menu:

Once a new character has been created, cultivate anywhere in the World Map to obtain a Cheat Menu (item). Using the item will open up the Cheat Menu.
Features are as followed:

  • Set current tile as Teleport Point
  • Open Teleport interface
  • Destiny options: Bulk-add all Rewrite Destinies (unplayable lag), or add groups of destinies in smaller quantities.
  • Combat system upgrades: A bunch of random stuff…
  • Skill Library: Categorized per skill type and per style type, you can add every single unique vanilla skill manual in guaranteed Red for your current Realm.
  • Add items: Many categories of items you can add. ‘Cheat items’ adds all of my mod’s items.
  • Sect Manipulation: Teleport to sect, instantly become sect leader, add prosperity and backup disciples. And manually trigger sect destiny spreading or sect destiny removal on deserted NPCs outside of the monthly-end trigger.
  • NPC interactions: Add friendship to Mind Pavilion or Mindsnap Temple, Agar functions (experimental) or configure the amount of random NPC interactions at the start of every new month.
  • Test button: Adds a red Fairy Chicken, which (afaik) does nothing as it’s an unreleased game feature… (I personally use this button as a placeholder to test stuff)

Added NPC:
  • Overpowered spouses (1 male, 1 female) depending on your character’s gender. The same-gender NPC will become a sworn sibbling.
  • Overpowered parents
  • Overpowered apprentices

Added sect: Overlord’s Abyss (small sect: Replaces Dragon Mountain Hamlet)

This newly improved sect has been defined in json/xlsx instead of the Mod Creator.
Features:

  • The Cheat Dialogue now features an option that allows toggling between Demonic and Righteous. Might be buggy with sect branches until later modifications to MPE (Mod Production Expansion) versions.
  • Wealth: 2,1B Spirit Stones, Herbs, Ores
  • Sect Trait 1: The Sect’s Stability, Prosperity, Reputation, Loyalty and Array cannot decrease
  • Sect Trait 2: Manual library produce +5, Sect mission has 0 failing and death-rate
  • Sect Rule 1: Forbidden to attack own Sect members
  • Sect Rule 2: Forbidden to steal from own Sect members

(Choosing both Overlord’s Soul and Elder Dragon Aura results in Dragon Mountain Hamlet)
In the vanilla game you can’t access the Dragon building in Overlords, so I’d recommend playing with this mod, which adds the building into every sect: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2929042250

Added items:

(all are found in the Cheat Menu)

  • Overlord’s Ring I – X: Higher capacity than the vanilla rings + effect: SP & Energy cost -100%. (This item is stack-able in your inventory for convenient gifting to NPCs.)
  • Overlord’s Compass I – X: Mount for every realm. Has the same stats and effects as Cosmic Compass, but additionally gives the Mature Soul destiny.(This item is stack-able in your inventory for convenient gifting to NPCs.)
  • Overlord’s Wealth: Can be sold for 4M spirit stones, auctioned or fed to Sect Guardians for max EXP & Hunger
  • OverMax Elixir: See screenshot, using this item doesn’t consume it.
  • OverMax Restore: See screenshot, using this item doesn’t consume it.
  • Suicide Elixir: Meant to pass scripted quest-fights, but my 2 Nature Destiny are apparently too strong to be killed, even by this item. Using this item doesn’t consume it.
  • Overlord’s Memories: Stack-able version of Xingtian’s Memories that is available even at Qi Refining.

Added features:
  • Title: The Overlord – Holds the special effects of every #1 Cultivator title and additionally applies a ‘Curse Seed’ destiny, which applies the Nurture Destiny Overlord’s Curse. This application occurs when you’re attacking, being attacked or challenging and/or being challenged for one of the #1 titles.
  • Taoist Mind: Nameless – Overlord, cannot be reduced in firmness-HP and increases damage by +666% instead of Nameless’ +10%. Imparting to NPCs will give them the normal Nameless.

All patches & credits:

Beyond the above-described features there are also tons of (vanilla) game patches and added features, based on influence from other mod creators. See all of those details in the discussion section here: https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/3182428599/4352242083122083951/
