HEROES OF LEGEND – BLOOD PACT Edition (New Heroes)

This mod adds new heroic units for the Chaos Space Marines (and units too) of the Blood Pact created by Dan Abnett from Gaunt’s novel.

Compatible with Too Many Voices, you must use this patch.
Compatible with Gladius+, you must use this patch.

Available in FRENCH and ENGLISH.

Regardless of the player color used, heroes will keep their own colors. They are like mercenary only available to the Chaos Space Marines in the Heroes building like vanilla heroes and regular buildings for units. The Blood Pact comes to Gladius Prime with their own color scheme, barks, heraldic and assets to turn Gladius Prime into their new world !

Role : Offensive Support/Leadership

Research needed : Dark Disciple (Tier 2) – DLC Specialist Pack required

Skills :

• 1st Authority of the Anarch : Sek generates loyalty. But if he die, all the Sons of Sek will be stunned.
• 2nd This planet belong to us : Sek consummes a tile and generates resources. Enemy units will lose morale.
• 3rd Cakospark Prattle : Sek temporary reduce the accuracy of the enemy around the target.
• Elite Infernal Teleportarium : Sek can teleport.

Traits :

• Blood Pact : Members of the Blood Pact will gains resources and health by killing enemies.
• Join the Blood Pact ! : Sek transforms regular cultists into a Blood Pack warrior and the Blood Pack troopers in Sons of Sek.
• Shipboard Insurrection : Sek temporary takes the control of an enemy vehicles or stuns a fortification.
• Wrathful Entreaty : Sek grants a steal-life ability to all units. Much more effective for those who bear the Mark of Khorne.
• Magister of the Blood Pact : Sek increases the accuracy of Chaos units, more effective on Sons of Sek.
• Cogitated Fates : Sek grants to the allied unit the ability to ignore ranged resistance.

With Sek, you can also build three new units from the Cult of Chaos building. The Blood Pact Trooper are unlocked by default and the Scourgers can be unlocked with the Mark of Khorne (Tier 2). The Sons of Sek can be unlocked with the Loyalty research (Tier 3).

Scourges works like Dark Commissar and will increase the combat performance of the cultist and Blood Pact trooper. They can also killed some units from an allied squad to generates morale for close allies.

The Son of Seks (you know me now) can specialize with new weapons in order to be more effective against situation or an enemy. Vanilla, they won’t deal great damage due to their lascarbine but they can cripple the infantry by pinning them. They can use flamer and sniper rifle (no research), rocket launcher and heavy stubber (City Tier 2) and Meltagun and Plasma gun (City Tier 3).

After you unlock the City Tier 3 research, any Chaos city will be able to summon one Son of Sek squad (with special weapons) !

The AT70 Reaver Battle Tank a medium tank that is effective against infantry and the Chimerax, a transport vehicle that can repels infantry and aircraft (pinning). Both unlocked by the City Tier 2 research

A new vehicle joins the fight, the SteG-4 is here to shred Imperial vehicles to dust. You can create these light tank by researching the Mark of Khorne Research.

A new vehicle the AT83 Brigand Super Tank just arrived, ready to crush any servitor of the Dead Emperor ! You can create these main tank by researching the Daemonbone Casings Research (Tier 7).

Researching the Chaos Rising research (Tier 6) grant the dozer blade buff to Chimerax, Reaver and SteG-4.

Role : Ranged DPS/Leadership

Research needed : City tier 3 (Tier 8)

Skills :

• 1st Eye of the Auspex : Gaur temporary gains accuracy when killing enemy, stackable.
• 2nd Tide of Traitors : Gaur deploys around him an army cultist of the Blood Pact. Empty adjacent tiles recommanded.
• 3rd Daemon in the Machine : Gaur reduces the accuracy of enemy vehicles in range.
• Elite Daemon Shells : Powerful shells effective against every target.

Traits :

• Blood Pact : Members of the Blood Pact will gains resources and health by killing enemies.
• Leader of the Blood Pact : Gaur grants an additionnal action to one Blood Pact allied unit.
• Warlord of Chaos : Gaur gives damages and ranged damage reduction to all allied Blood Pact unit in range.
• Archon of the Blood Pact : The Death of Gaur will stun every allied Blood Pact unit.
• Break the Saint : Gaur deals more damage against the Adepta Sororitas.

Role : Ranged DPS/Siege unit

Research needed : Icon of Flame (Tier 10)

Skills :

• 1st Harbinger of Destruction : Asphodel can reduce loyalty to enemy cities and add loyalty of allied cities.
• 2nd Chaos-tainted vox : Asphodel reduces the morale of any enemy and restores it for allies.
• 3rd Havoc Launcher : Rocket weapons that become more powerful with leveling.
• Elite Deployments of the Darkwatch : Asphodel orders the deployment of the Darkwatch, a powerful and mobile infantry, to overrun the enemy.

Traits :

• Engine of Woe : Asphodel can gains more movement at the cost of the health of the Spike.
• Massive Structure : All units close to the Spike suffers less damages.
• Starship-grade plasma cannon : Powerful weapon that deals great damage against any type of unit, stuns the target for one turn. Overheat.
• Scout : The Spike can reveal the area.
• Aura of Fear : Quite obvious, this monstrosity is easily sighted at a distance and will fear every foe.

A new tanks, the Stalk-tank, is available with two pattern one with a reaper autocannon and a heavy flamer and the other with a cannon of his own. They are both unlocked with the Icon of Wrath research (Tier 7).
